Hi my Aston runs fine but on odd occasion when I start her up it sounds as if all cylinders arnt firing and sometimes wont start until leave it for hr or so. Have took to dealership and nothing logged on EOBD except usual orange engine sign saying "system management error" Dealer says can only fix problem when it happens and it never bloody happens when with dealer! Any suggestions on what this can be Please?

Dose the fault only happen if you switch the ignition on then don't try and start the car for about 5-10 seconds. If this is the case your car has a leaking one way valve in one or both fuel pumps.

Hi Fulmel, No, Problem will happen straight away and keep on happening if I switch off and start again. I do not use car very often it never seems to happen when I have not used car for a while but if I go out say for an hours drive stop for petrol or something it will happen then. As I said is a very occasional fault and doesn't happen often but when it does its embarrassing.

Get the dealer to do a service and change fuel filter(s). You may have carp(sp)in the system.
