im planning to fit new rings to an engine , ive google and found theres the 3 legged stone tools which never seem to have a grade mentioned , or the ball hone /flex hone tools

i plan to use goteze rings in a regular iron block

any advice on grade on stones or help at all , figured id ask before jumping in and making a mess

240g ball hone sounds best atm - although cant seem to find them at a sensible price

I would not use a three legged hone, a flex-hone in 180 grit is ideal. What bore size do you need to hone/glaze bust?

I have a couple of flex hones at that size, if you can get the block here I can glaze bust the bores for you.
