Oil Leak X Type

It's driving me insane, completed oil change on daily diesel x type (I know its a poor choice of car ) a couple of weeks ago and must have pinched oil seal as after a few miles oil and car parted company, purchased new filter with seal and changed again all seemed ok but tonight oil pissing out past seal again.

I have changed this a number of times previously and never had a problem, the oil filter cap is not damaged, the spring did come out last time but sure I have put it all back together properly, the car does circa 500 miles a week so like to change oil regular but this leak is a pain in the arse.

Will purchase more oil and another filter and seal tomorrow, am I doing something wrong?

Check there isn't a crack in the plastic housing, or the alloy one it screws into (pretty sure these are the cartridge type ones with the plastic bit you unscrew ?)

I take it you are doing it up enough ?

Can't see any crack in the plastic have ordered new one just in case, oil is passing past the seal.

It is torqued up to correct amount, have overtightened before on another car and the results were messy.
