Mecredes a class 51 plate.. HELP!!

Hi,

I've just bought a 51 plate a140 avantgarde merc, th car runs fine no obvious noises Etc but when I go to start it after its wen stood for 8 hours plus it really struggles.. Eventually goes but then needs to warm up a lot I drive smoothe it's just judders if u don't..

Private sale or from a garage/dealer? If the latter take it back & see what they'll do about it.
If private, how was it described in the ad?

From a dealer "sold as seen" I think it's the starter motor but not sure

Starter motors don't cause judder when driving. More likely a coil pack which has become lazy.

If all else fails try & find a MB independent near you & get a diagnostic done on MB kit.
Failing that, a general garage MAY be able to diagnose with whatever they've got.
