Mk6 golf roll over protection bars

Hi everyone I have a mk6 golf convertible bought as a cat d salvage all fully repaired by me , the problem I have is the roll over protection bars have deployed and I need to get them down so I can remove them so I can change the actuators, can anyone assist me please? Can't get roof down to remove bars as they are in the way, thanks in advance
