How to use fuel filter hand primer

Hi All,

I will be changing fuel filter on my mk3 mondeo soon.

How do I use the primer in the link below? Do I need to purchase an additional hose to connect to fuel line and the other end connecting to fuel filter iself?

Are there any other products that can help get the fuel into the filter?

Don't need one of them! Just fill the filter with diesel using a pull up top water bottle.

Yes until you get even a miniscule amount of dirt or water the clean side of the filter !!! Make sure you fill the inlet side only!! pre filling filters has caused a lot of problems since common rail came into use .

You connect it to the return pipe after the pump, you have to draw the fuel right through the pump.
