Car taking ages to start...
Discussion
Hi all,
Hoping this is the right place to post this. My other half has an 18 month old Seat Ibiza with the 1.4 petrol, very in-PH I know but she likes it. On several occasions the car has taken an age to start - it will crank for some 15-25 seconds, revs ever so slowly rising before it catches.
I've reported it to seat twice and even videod it but they are clueless. After the car starts, the problem disappears for a couple of months. I'm not an expert on the subject but I do know no modern car should be like this. I'm guessing the car isn't getting fuel or it isn't sparking. Hoping someone may have some suggestions?
It is hardly a massive issue but I just worry that it is a symptom of something more serious elsewhere. According to Seat the car hasn't logged any error codes.
Thanks in advance!
