PT Cruiser diagnostic

Hi trying to help out my parents, they have a PT Cruiser which won't start and have been told it's probably the immobiliser but no-one local to a Lowestoft have a diagnostic kit, have been told to take it to main dealer in Norwich, we have been quoted £95 to transport it there. Just wondered if anyone know of a mobile ? Many thanks in advance.
