As per title any one got any feed back on these ?

I am after one for work, been on Ebay but it is a bit of a mind filed with cheap looking models for cleaning watches and jewellery.

I would like to clean carbs, pistons etc.

Like i said i don't know anything about them, they all look to be 40kHz i presume this is the power rating ?

Any help

I had one from Lidl, a Silverline, I used it half a dozen times then it stopped working. Results were not really impressive used on carb jets injectors etc.

I haven't bothered replacing it yet, I am looking out for a larger more robust second hand unit, there was one at a place I worked which really shifted the crud, the Lidl one seemed more like a toy.

Ive used a lidl one for injectors using carb cleaner as the solution. It will dissolve anything plastic including the cleaner case, but as long as you keep it in the metal pot inside it works well enough. The 40khz refers to the frequency of the ultrasonic pulses it uses, so its no so much brute force, but very rapid cleaning pulses where the liquid effectively becomes abrasive so if you want something cleaner- just run it for longer. Just dont do as a friend did and put your glasses in it and expect to use them afterwards!
