What's this connector on my Hella projector?
Discussion
This is a Hella headlight projector which uses a H7 bulb (or what I believe to be a H7 bulb). There's two connectors on it, one has something to do with switching to high beam/low beam, but it uses a shutter rather than two filaments.
The electrical connectors look quite standard but I don't know what they are called so don't know to search for to buy them! Anyone know? Also if anyone knows how to wire the shutter it will save me searching for a wiring diagram.

Sorry - Just realised you probably mean the connetor between your thumb and finger :-)
Looks like a generic 2 pin waterproof connetor - Cheap enough to take a gamble : http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Electrical-Waterproof-Co...

cheap copies are available, but not a patch on the genuine ones IME.
Quite,I once rewired a 1.8 VAG turbo engined kit thing where the builder had used cheap E-bay connectors but very good quality wire, braiding and clamps???That which had not melted or welded its self in(coil pack plugs, cam and oil sensor plugs drooped right down)
had either snapped its retaining clip off or lost all spring leaving them all having self tappers through them or a bunch of cable ties holding them on.
The terminals are tin crap the plastic is either brittle or has no thermal stability, resistance is poor and varying and the seals are next to useless
which is obvious by the abundance of corrosion on the more exposed stuff.
Decent aftermarket coverage is quite good with some rummaging but a lot of it is in multi-packs and not cheap if you only need one or two.
I stick to good used oem stuff from a breaker with new pins from the dealer if available,I dont like joins everywhere.
