Hi guys

I've recently purchased a '12 plate Delta 1.6 M-Jet. Absolutely in love with her but man the gearknob is really bad!!

So I'm looking to get a replacement but I can't work out how to get the gearknob off. Does anyone know for definite? There are no screws etc and many posts for other makes suggest that the way to get it off would be to either pull it clean off or unscrew it. I don't know which one applies here and I can't get either to work.

Don't want to put more brute force into it until I know the way it definitely should be done!

Any advice would be appreciated.

Thanks!

Probably bonded on, destruction is usually the only way you can get them off.

Sure you've worked it out by now but it's bolted on. Prise the rubber part out to reveal the bolt head.
