Hi.

My hydraulic two post ramp has started lifting unevenly. Any one got any ideas why this might be before I start stripping it to investigate? The difference isn't huge, just an 30-50mm.

Some idea of the design of the ramp would be useful!
Is it twin ram or is it a single ram ,cables /pulleys?

That's huge by anyone's standards.

Really, 1-2" huge? I will need to make some more enquiries, the ramp is in the UK and I'm not.

I'm surprised the safety cables haven't stopped the ramp working if it's gone uneven but anyway I would check the lifting nuts-one may be knackered and is now resting on the safety nut. If that's not the case, assuming there's a chain going across the bottom of the ramp linking the main lifting screws-make sure the tension is correct as if it's loose it may have jumped.

Hi mate , if its got the ram on the switch/oil tank side it usually that side that goes higher ? if it is then the cable nuts on the other side need adjusting ,they usually slacken off with time and that side lowers .
