VW MK5 GOLF WINDOW ISSUE

As above,

2004 mk4 golf the NSF window just clicks and wont go up or down, I have stripped the door down and the cables ect for the regulator are ok.

Its the regulator itself thats clicking, i bought a new one and still having the same issue just cliking.

Any ideas?

Too add to this I have taken the passenger regulator and plugged it in on the drivers side and it works fine,

Put the drivers on on the passenger side and its clicking.
