Hi, I have a Laguna III Coupe 2.0Dci GT, and recently it threw up some fault codes. Plugged Autocom in, and it gave me the following...

DTC1640 - Heating element control unit
DTC2002 - Particle filter
DTC1525 - Consistent multiplex signal for cruise control/speed limiter

The fault came on the motorway with the cruise control engaged at 75mph, and happened after a few minutes, disengaging the cruise control. The spanner light went out after a couple of min, so reset CC, couple of minutes later, happened again, and the cycle continued. Driving without CC, light would stay off until more power was needed, when it came back on.

I'm fairly sure the DPF is the root cause, so that will be removed soon!! Are the other faults related though, having some trouble finding much info for this car...

Thanks in advance for any help...

Mine did something similar, in fact it went a stage further and disabled the cruise control and speed limiter completely!

Had my local garage reset the codes and force a regen, which cured the problem up until the gearbox threw a bearing and it was the least of my problems!

Think that's what I'll have to do, take it to a garage and force the regen, and cross my fingers!!
