weak cigarette lighter

hi the Cigarette Lighter in my car is painfully pathetic, its a nissan primera.

You push it in, it pops out dead quick but isnt anywhere near enough warm enough to ignite dry grass let alone a cigarette.


I dont smoke but this really annoys me, I might need to commit arson one day and would like to know that I could use the cigarette lighter in my car as the source of ignition.

Swap it for a different one? Borrow someone else's to try out for 5 mins to confirm the problem is the lighter not the socket.
