Pinto Ally Sump

Looking for advice on best jointing compound for oiltight seal on above. I'm an old Hylomar fan. but I guess that there's probably better stuff available these days.

I would use "Threebond," its the jointing compound the Japs and Italians use on their bike engines.

So many to choose from ,your first Hylomar blue is good any of the available silicons ,theres not much difference ,I always stick the gasket to the sump 24 hrs before fitting ,put sump on to flat surface with gasket stuck to it and heavy weight on sump [2 bricks ] not failed me yet
