Car Creeper Recommendations
Discussion
Can anyone recommend a car creeper please?
I'm 6'3 and approx. 115kg, so particularly interested in something that's long enough and robust. Are the formed/moulded plastic ones any good for taller people or am I better with the more traditional metal frame type?
Looking forward to not sliding around on my back!
Cheers

I've got one that was on special offer in lidl years ago. My advice would be don't bother.
I'm 6' 3" and 13.5 stone and I can't get under the cars comfortably. Even with the mx5 jacked right up on top of my beefy (tall) axle stands i find some part of my body or other gets snagged on the car and I end up on my back on the floor.
Mine converts into a seat, which I've used way more for brakes/ wheel work than as a creeper.

Quick update - I've been given a creeper by a friend, which took away the dilemma of what to buy!
It's a metal frame version, with six wheels and padded base. Initial impressions from use are, it's long enough but only just. I need to put my butt right on the end to get my head on rest, but need to be careful as when you have all the weight that one end the other end occasionally lifts up. Once laying down it feels sturdy enough to move around on. I'll get some measurements for info when next in the garage.
