On sale next Thursday at ALDI

Found it on another forum so thought I'd pass it over.

Handy for light usage I suppose, loads of cheap accessories may be worth a look at as well. smile

Would the blaster be up to much? https://www.aldi.co.uk/en/specialbuys/thursday-13t... It's the one tool i can't think of an electric replacement for.

I'd want to shot blast brake calipers and the like.

EDIT: Assuming i used it with this compressor, i don't have a compressor currently

No, it's crap.

The compressor is ideal for home use though, I got one years ago and while I only use it to inflate tyres or run the odd air tool, it has been spot on, the tank is a little small though so be prepared for it to be running near constantly for any decent usage, and it's not quiet!

Quick BUMP

The compressor wasn't on the website earlier in the week, and there were none in my local store so it may have been dropped?

However, they do have lots of air tools, regulators hoses etc. which may be of benefit to anyone who owns their own.

Clicky

Yes, I bought loads of stuff. smile The regulator comes with two hoses which are practically worth the money themselves. Fitted with Euro couplings though, not PCL

EDIT: Apparently the compressor had some mechanical issue/fault so deemed by Aldi not suitable for sale.

Last time i looked at the Aldi one (before i went all-in on battery tools) they were rebadged "Wolf" compressors. I'd never heard of wolf but a few folks reckoned they were a good budget manufacturer save for the alternative couplings used.

Not Alternative, just new style, most compressors that come with a coupling on will now have the new stubby euro connectors, and most air tools will include the stubby euro connector in the packaging.

Impulse buy, i bought the "stupid" one - you know the wee 1hp suitcase one with no cylinder / receiver. I'm calling it stupid because it only saves you 30 notes over the proper one with the small tank.

It's pretty awesome though, i'm a happy chappy. It's slightly bigger than expected but still trivial to store away on the shelf. It's fast for pumping up tyres. It has a blow out attachment too. It's up to speed instantly too (because there's no cylinder).

Job jobbed. I have everything i need now. Except a half decent spot blaster...
