Punto wipers

Hi, a mate of mine is having problems with his Punto front wipers, when he operates the switch the wipers will move half a stroke then stop this happens intermitantly, I was thinking the motoer but then possibly the switch? also there is no fuse allocated in the manual , its an 07 punto any help/ ideas would be appreciated , thanks David.
