Halfords sockets are all 12 point rather than single hex unfortunately.
Some people prefer single hex

Use the impact ones for really tight bolts. They are Single hex.

I prefer 12 hex, not sure why, probably because of years of abusing tight nuts.

The deep sockets are 6 point, so I tend to use those unless access is restricted.

Ratchet spanners is what my set lacks. Luckily they have the 12pc ratchet spanner set half price at £40. I know where my Xmas spends have gone.
