Is there anything that can be installed in a car like air jacks, but that runs off 240V not compressed air. It would seem to be a good solution for working at home and track days etc. I couldn't find anything using Google. How hard would it be to build something? I don't have the skills myself, am just curious.

I would think the power/torque required would preclude the use of electrics to achieve this effect.

Only a guess, mind.

What's wrong with a jack?

Air jacks are usually needed for speed of use, during pit stop or similar. Makes no sense for trackday or garage use where a jack would be suitable.

But if you HAVE to have one, how about a electric air pump to pump it up?

An air jack system isn't cheap. (We run one on RV3)
If you find an electric (on board) system, it will be even less "cheap"..

You'd be better off with jacks/stands..
