Working from memory here because I don't have a Focus: I don't think so because it's a different design from the older hubs and bearings. But why would you want to make life hard, the new hub and drum will just bolt directly onto the back-plate with four bolts. Far easier than dismantling a hub and fitting new bearings. Furthermore there's the matter of the ABS sensor. Many designs now have this built into the bearing so again it makes sense to just bolt on a complete assembly.

I think on the focus the bearing is pressed into the drum and held on with the big centre nut. if you have a press then you can save a few quid and change just the bearing. personally wouldnt bother with the hassle though...

You can change the bearings easily enough the old fashioned way without a proper press, i.e. hammer and suitable sized socket to push the old bearing out and the new one in. A bit of lube always helps when pushing the new one in. Don't forget to clean the mating surface first or things could get awkward. Wet and dry sandpaper lubed with WD40 usually does the trick then a quick wipe with a rag.

A new bearing is roughly the same price as a s/h hub from a tame scrappy. Personally, I'd go for the new bearing, at least you know what you have then.

Got to echo just doing the stub axle and the drum as a complete unit.

4 13mm bolts if I remember right (been a few years since I had a Focus). Way easier than pissing about with a press etc to get the bearing out.

I have a pair of new drums for a Mk1 Focus in my shed. Bought to change years ago and then sold the car. Where abouts are you?

Also got some brake pads as well for rear drums I think.
