I changed the rear pads on my Mini today. Straight forward enough job, however, I did smear a very small dab of copper grease on one pad I.e. on the friction surface by accident. No more than a couple of seconds & I got rid but I read on the internetz that it could be a problem.

Obviously I've had a post job test drive & the brakes are ok, not great as you'd expect on new pads, but should I be concerned? No big deal if they have to come out but I'd like to know.

A tiny smidge isn't really a concern to be honest. Brake cleaner is pretty good at removing all traces. smile

Great & yeah, Brake cleaner was liberally applied. smile
