Rectifier for electric window........... £700 please.

So, electric window packs up, still making noises but glass has come away from runner (?) Nice lady from Audi says its the Rectifier and £700. Car has Audi warrenty but only up to £400 Dont know much about cars but do the windows run a Rectifier. They are going to check with there warrenty people that the £400 is the limit. What do you all think? Sounds right. Thanks.
