Hi all,

I did post this in the Ford section but I have had no responses, any help appreciated...

After rather foolishly leaving my front two windows slightly open over night whilst it was raining it would appear I have knackered 3 out of 4 of my windows!

Offside front window works fine, window goes up, window goes down.

Offside rear, there is no life at all, no sound of the motor even trying.

Nearside front, window goes down when you press down, window goes down when you press up. I have taken off the door card and checked the switch but can not see anything wrong, no obvious water damage etc. Unplugging the switch and plugging it back in makes the window go back up automatically.

Nearside rear, it will go down when it feels like it, press it to go up or down, it will go down, if you release the switch and press again, it goes up.

I am really rather stumped!!

It was two days ago that I made the mistake, I would of thought any damp will have dried out by now given the hot weather. Any thoughts or suggestions on what this may be and what the fix is??

Any responses are welcomed!!!

My best guess would be water ingress into the controls has caused the damage & it could need replacing if a good drying session out of the car does not help.

When you say controls, do you mean the switches?

Some cars the system gets out of sync, try holding the buttons for an extra 10 seconds in both directions (up and down) when the window has openened/closed and report back
