Reusable Gloves
Discussion
I end up going through about 3 pairs of nitrile gloves per day :-( not because they rip, more often it's just if i take them off i can't put them back on. Can be uncomfortable after a while too when they get too sweaty as well.
Decided to try some polyurethane dipped reusable ones, really impressed so far! They have open backs so my hands don't sweat. They've more durable than i expected. Pinched them several times, got oil over them, generally being quite rough with them and still the first pair are intact. I'm expecting to get a few weeks at least out of a pair, for <70p a pair delivered, i think these are ace!
Bought some of these first: http://www.beal.org.uk/welding-safety/gloves/pu-di... but they seem to be small made and not much of a cuff on them either.
Bought some of these next: http://www.thesafetysupplycompany.co.uk/p/673260/y... brilliant, good cuff and good fit.
Any others that are good? Could do with an even longer cuff (elasticated) if possible...

Yes, I use a simular glove for work they stand up to some hard use and do not seem to be affected by oil or fuel, I first saw bricklayers use them to handle blocks as they have a good grip and stop you from shreadding your hands on rough blocks.
Only down side I have found so far is the tend to melt quite easily with sparks from a grinder, weld splatter etc leaving holes especially on the back of the hands.
Overall this is a small niggle for a very useful glove, I have even washed them out with a bit of washing uo liquid if they have gotten real grubby/greasy, left them overnite and reused them the next day.

Try these!
A bit more expensive, but they are by far the best I've ever found of these type out of about a dozen different types.
Double dipped, so completely water / oil proof, & they have an outer coating which still allows you to grip even when covered in oil!
