LED sidelight flicker

Hi,

Just fitted some LED sidelights to my car, before I started I made sure everything was off, took the original bulb out and fitted the new one. As soon as the new one (LED) was fitted it started flickering. When the sidelights are on though it works fine and is lit constantly.

Any ideas?

If your car has a bulb out warning system it will send a low current to the bulb from time to time to see if the bln is gone. This may be what is causing the flickering.

Thanks for replying, do you think they will flicker all the time or does it send the current every now and again?
