Wiper grief

Hi all, wipers still running when ignition switched off, next morning heavy snow on the screen, you guessed the rest!
It's a Renualt traffic van, the wipers now park in odd positions, the intermittant wipe sweeps the screen twelve times per interval instead of one sweep. Is there any cheap simple fixes?

It's usually the intermittent wiper relay change it and it should work fine again they sometimes get water in them. If you have Air con in it vehicle there is a tray that collects water and when you take corners it can splash on to the Relay causing similar symptoms to what your getting. Just replace it and all should be fine.
