1999 corsa fuel leak !

my brothers has a corsa which is pouring fuel out from around the fuel tank and fuel filter area when started. I had a look but couldn't quite see where it was coming from because the fuel was just pouring out in all directions from around that area.

I have a feeling that it might just be a loose fuel line to the filter or something like that, will need to get under in the daytime to see properly. I assume that a fuel tank doesn't just go from perfectly normal to completely pouring out fuel when just driving down the road, so i don't think it's a problem with the tank itself.

I was wondering if anyone knew if this was a common problem on corsas or have come across this before, would appreciate a point in the right direction

Filter is easy to check, its on the underside of the car just in from the sill on the drivers side.

If it only leaks when running, it has to be on the pressurised side of the pump. It could be a split hose. a bad joint or maybe the filter has corroded through.
