First oil change of ownership on the A4

Hi all
So the time came for me to do my first oil change of ownership on the A4,but while waiting for the black stuff to drain I decided to explore some pipes and vacuums.
First pipe to come off was the lower intercooler pipe,but was surprised to see the amount of oil to come out the pipe,about a cup full or so, is this a sign of the turbo on its way out or can it just be a build up from its 5yrs and 68k worth of use?
The car is a 2007 Audi a4 1.9 tdi pd engine.

The PD engines can breathe a bit, my Golf does similar, I clean it all out each time I service it. it could be turbot problems but it still goes and does decent mpg so until it starts sending clouds out the back or I get a sooty rear end I am just monitoring the situation from afar.
