The cold air vents are blowing HOT air .
The setting for the air vents is set as COLD but still blows HOT air .
How do I fix this problem?
Is it just the valve that has been dislodged?

Some advice would be appreciated

It sounds like the Heater Control Valve has stuck in the "on" position. Usually it sticks off.

Yeah, its the valved that's borked, my ex's KA had the same issue.

After a bit of research it was shown to be that part that was broken. Replaced it and all was well, didn't cost much either IIRC.

Only problem I had was that one of the plastic bits of tubing that the hoses plug onto had snapped, so when I was tugging it the whole thing came off. Not an issue if you are replacing it there and then, but it was an issue for me as I was just looking into the issue without the replacement part at hand. A quick bodge meant that it blew cold air all the time, as I had to bypass the valve altogether by connecting the tubes directly.
