I have a tarmac drive and there are approximately 1" wide by approx 50cm long concrete looking slabs that are supporting the tarmac.

I;d like to use these elsewhere on another job, supporting soil, hardcore and paving slabs. Question is how deep are these and what are they called and who sell them/??

thanks

they are called edging stones, sizes may differ between suppliers but you can get them from Wickes (prod code 220357) these have a rounded top but if you want square you just lay them the other way up, oh and they are approx 6" high normally.
