De-locked 106 Quicksilver....HELP!
Discussion
Hello, I brought a 106 quicksilver a couple of months back and it has been completely smoothed off as far as keyholes are concerned. Due to unforeseen problems it had to be put into a garage and went a couple of weeks without being started up, now the battery is dead and I have no way of unlocking it apart from smashing a window and I really don't want to do that....would anyone be able to help me with alternative methods.....any help would be much appreciated
Jump leads - Neg onto any convenient chassis point, Pos to positive supply on the back of starter motor solenoid. This should give you enough power for the remote to operate - then you can open the car/bonnet and deal with flat battery situation as you would do normally.
You'll probably have to jack car up quite high at front to get underneath for access though.
