Jacking a clio onto axle stands
Discussion
I need to get my clio up on axle stands, wheels are in for a refurb shortly.
In the past ive used the trolley jack on the sill jacking points and popped in axle stand as close as i can get it to the reinforced area. Sill looks like its bent very slightly where it's rested though, so I guess I'm doing this wrong.
I assume the sill jacking points are the best area to put the axle stands, though the name would suggest otherwise... I've seen tyre fitters lifting the rear from the back axle, just under the springs and it looks sturdy enough under there to do it one side at a time, but where should i be lifting from the front?
Any advice appreciated!
