04 renault master dci120 sticking clutch pedal

having recently purchased a 04 Renault master lwb DCI120 im having some issues with the clutch pedal not returning to its upright position when changing gear! had a quick look under the bonnet and its not like any clutch operating system ive ever seen! anybody had similar problems or knows why and how to fix advise would be greatly appreciated...

Same issues with vauxhall movanos, they are the same van.. Either put up with it, just pull the pedal up when it sticks down until you need a new clutch or fit a new slave cylinder, it's inside the bellhousing so change the clutch as well while the box is out. Budget £500. Check the master cylinder as well but I've always found its the slave at fault.
