24v charging?

Hi all. I've got a campervan with 2 x 12v batteries in series to make 24v.

I've got a really good (and fairly expensive) 12v charger. Is there anyway I could hook this up to charge both batteries at once?

Or alternatively can someone recommend a decent (but cheap) charger which will do 24v?

I could, but I wanted to leave the charger connected so that when I get to a site with electric I could simply plug it in and not worry about having to switch the charger over between them

It would be possible, but you would have to remove the link between the batteries, So it would either be charging at 12V or discharging at 24V. You can't do both at the same time unfortunately.
