I see some videos on YT about this - Dean Howard (the actor) making his case about the assumptions we make in maths not being correct. I think it has been debunked but i'm no expert.

Is he still trying to argue that he should have been paid more than Robert Downy Jr. for Iron Man 2, and has thus had to invent new maths to right that obvious, in his mind, wrong? Obviously being in one film once men’s he must be paid twice rofl

Consigned to the dustbin here:

I do like this lady - she turns up in my YouTube recommendations from time to time.

Happily she puts the whole thing to bed at 1:20 (so you don’t have to listen to the whole thing), explaining very neatly why 1x1 (obviously) = 1. She then does go into where he’s made some wrong assumptions and so on, neatly debunking the whole thing.

What does the guy say when you ask him, if 1x1=2, what does 2x1 equal?

Joe Rogan is the real villain in that he gives a platform to these loons.

I disagree. If you watched the follow up episode with Eric Weinstein, I think that was a very fair and reasonable way to handle things. JR barely spoke in that episode.

Eric is super smart and treated Terrence Howard with a good degree of respect but was happy to tell him that he was speaking ste.

Same with Hancock who has been on the show a few times (ancient civilisations etc) and got dismantled by Flint Dibble.

Giving idiots an equal platform with people who know their stuff is totally wrong, in my view.

Neill deGrasse Tyson tried to be civil with this moron but once he pointed out to him how stupid his ideas are , which he did in a very mannerly way, he cut him off.
That was eight years ago and this fool is still peddling his nonsense.
Rogan is a dangerous idiot himself for giving this cretin a voice,

Probably not a good idea to use YouTube as a reference source. At least not without a cross reference.

Plenty of factually sound stuff on there. You just have to select your sources correctly.
