I remember those - a friend was an "agent" for them, think they were called ecoflow? Good for picking up dropped nuts and bolts or collecting swarf.

That's frightening. I know people who would believe that in a heartbeat because it looks "sciency".

I think there’s something in it to be fair but wouldn’t want to sleep on something connecting my body to the plug socket. What if there is an earth fault somewhere in your house?!

That's what they rely on. To be completely clear: there is nothing in it. It's complete rubbish. The "science" is nothing of the kind. They are scammers, preying on the worried and the easily led. Nothing more than that.

Agree - complete tosh.

Every meter above ground level, there is a build-up of around 300 volts inside the body. So, if you are sleeping in a second storey bedroom, you will carry a charge of 1,000 volts, on average.
So if you're in an apartment block on the 10th floor, you'll be carrying around a charge of 10,000 volts???

Also, the last thing I'd want to be connected to when sleeping would be the house plug socket when there's a thunderstorm.

Jesus wept. Regardless of how much bks they spout elsewhere, you'd have thought they might get the fundamentals right.

Getting the fundamentals wrong, while looking smart to the insufficiently-educated, is these scammers stock-in-trade.

Bruce’s recommendation is a bit worrying, under the circumstances:

“My experience of working with Jack has been absolutely positive…” hehe

Carbonflo?

I seem to remember it (or something very similar)was a thing back in the ‘90’s, at that time being touted as a lead replacement for petrol.

The Broquet fuel catalyst I think it was? Claimed to have been used by the RAF in WWII.
