Astronomy beginner

Hi,

Mrs S and I are just about to move to the Scottish highlands in a remote area so I am hoping for dark skies. As a youngster I was very interested in astronomy and our new farm gives me the perfect opportunity to get back in to it.

Does anybody have any recommendations as to useful/helpful forums or groups that I can join and where I can ask beginner level questions?
