Did anyone else see the fabulous meteor tonight just before 10pm?

I looked out of the window and it shot across the sky, absolutely awesome sight.

I was aware of something through the Velux out of the corner of my eye, but thought a plane must have been passing. Wish I'd got a better look now.

Yes, I saw it out of the corner of my eye at 21:55. I am not far from Gatwick and it must have been NW from me.

Just saw it as it droped into my view through the window and appeared to "extinguise" as a shower of sparks

Thank you, I thought it was a meteor, but dismissed it as a fire work.
Wow, that's the first time I've seen one.
I'm in East London, and was looking north out the window.
