that is an odd article. Seems a bit self promoting.

Reactor 5 (and 6) were never finished and I don't think were really very close to being finished. So would be amazed if any fuel (or 'depleted uranium fuel bars' as mentioned - not much good as a fuel if depleted) or waste was anywhere around. Having said that, not impossible/implausible for waste to have been dumped in the area from other parts of site.

In the 4 years or so I was there never heard a suggestion of there being anything 'interesting' there, we might even have done some surveys, but I can't remember. I was always surprised at the amount of tower cranes across the construction area that must have been there around 30 years, I think at least one or two of them have now fallen/been taken down.
