Saw this claim on a local council newsletter. No citations but to me this seems an impossibly high amount.
Ignoring pros/cons of burning waste for energy etc, can anyone give some reliable comparable figures for UK (or elsewhere)?
No agenda either way, just slightly sceptical of an unverified figure!
