Show me scientifically a post saying How Scientists looked in the the old days on here before I posted it .....I have to confess to being fond of Patrick. He gave me my astronomy diploma when I graduated. He missed very few episodes of the Sky at Night, the main one being due to a dodgy duck egg!
Not many years ago when I did my Degrees, some lecturers were certainly rather eccentric to say the least. Better that than some personality-free teacher who just wants to get as many students out of the door as possible.
