That seems to reveal a lot more.
I did a few quick searches on the first link of some of the more obscure areas of which i know NASA has pictures and it came up with "nothing found for that search". That is why I knew it couldn't have everything.
A few years ago I found a section on the NASA site devoted to photographs taken by the astronauts on the Apollo missions. Essentially, it was EVERY image from every roll of film used - so it also included all the duff shots (mis-framed, out of focus etc). But what it did reveal was the chronological sequence of shots which included those iconic Apollo images i.e. where they fitted in the time line of the photographs.
