Been looking at that section of the NASA site for at least ten years now smile

Do you know that every single photograph taken by every Mercury, Gemini and Apollo astronaut is now on the NASA website. This includes even the duff ones.

I thought it had been around for a while as well, thy just seem to be selling it a more searchable now. Maybe they are just trying a bit of the Trump style "sell 'em something they already have" approach. smile

Usually "not properly in frame". When using the Hasselblads on the moon, they were taking pictures without the use of a view finder. They more or less pointed the camera in the general direction of what they wanted to take and clicked away. They had the cameras set on wide angle and focused on infinity so all the pictures were sharp - but they sometimes were not quite centered the way they intended.
