For those interested, high altitude ice crystals are up to their usual tricks again, worth a look if you're Midlands to SW and away from street lights.

The halo isn't close to the Moon, if anyone hasn't seen one and expects it to be close by.

Anyone else seeing it?

Looking at satellite cloud cover images, it may possibly be visible over a larger area.

The only halos I can see is the mist around our local street lamps.

I noticed this on Tuesday evening when walking home from school parents evening! Never seen it before.

Here's a quick snap I took of this phenomenon the other day - I know it's a bit crap but if you've never seen it then it at least gives you an idea of what it was like!!
