I was wondering (my science knowledge isnt great) whether there is any method known to humans to make one thing cooler without transferring the heat energy to something else? Ie completely remove the heat energy and turn it into something else?

Purely theoretical and just to satisfy my curiosity.

Yes - endothermic reactions, where the heat energy is turned into chemical energy. For example, dissolving ammonium chloride in water will lower the temperature of the water.

In theory you shoud be able to turn energy into matter. mc2 = e!

(that's just 'e', not 'e factorial')
