Interesting article. I had seen something similar a few years ago so knew quite a few but find it amusing that they consider 'postcard' and 'stamp' to be substances!

Contact lenses in essence are very cheap for the manufacturers to produce. They also hold very little mark up for the opticians, the reason they cost so much is due to all the regulation that goes around the sale and supply, MHRA registration ect... don't get me into it. However it leads me up to my point, the most expensive substance known to man, as it costs £Many Billions/No actual weight at all!! is "Red tape"
