The Rise of the Machines, just a bit scary
Discussion
I'm totally fine with it stomping along right up until it reaches uneven footing; it lurches and rights itself in an instant and all of a sudden a primordial little (ordinarily quiet) nerve in the back of my mind sparks to life to tell my conscious that... "Had about... Nar nar. That's f
king f
ked up. Stay away from that c*nt"

As long as they make it is a law that all robots are hardwired with the 3 laws
1 - A robot may not injure a human being or, through inaction, allow a human being to come to harm.
2 - A robot must obey the orders given it by human beings except where such orders would conflict with the First Law.
4 - A robot must protect its own existence as long as such protection does not conflict with the First or Second Laws.
Then all will be fine, oh wait.....

When they design one which doesn't walk like it's looking for the smallest room in the house, then I'll be a bit unnerved.
Pretty much a carbon copy of me staggering back from the pub, walking unsteadily bursting for a wee...... ;-)AER said:
