swamp gas reflecting off Venus.
joking aside, I haven't a clue but the UFO conspiracy nutters are having a field day with it.
my guess is it's debris or junk
I've also been told to watch - black night satellite on YouTube, apparently - It's about a satellite that has been in space orbiting us since the 60s sending out radio messages into space. No country is claiming the satellite as there own. joking aside, I haven't a clue but the UFO conspiracy nutters are having a field day with it.

I'm sure it's nonsense, and yet here I am thinking: "I really ought to watch that".http://metro.co.uk/2015/06/29/ufos-filmed-leaving-...
This has also been posted in the Lounge. However, I would be interested tohear read the opinions of the 'Science!' enthusiasts.
Assume this is a undoctored genuine feed.
What do you chaps reckon? Any obvious or stand out explanations?
I'm a scientist by trade, however grew up being a big X Files fan. As the poster on Mulder's office wall states: "I want to Believe".

Did anyone uncover what those dull thuds were that were heard around the northern hemisphere a few months back?
Ah I remember the thread on that, was interesting. My money is on a large meteorite blowing up in the atmosphere somewhere over the Atlantic, as watching videos of the big one in Russia had several similarities. Would also explain why it was heard in the USA and the UK. There was also rumours of the USA's experimental aircraft flying around that time as well, so could have been that.As for this video, well there's been a few just like this floating about, and the general consensus is that they are small particles, probably ice, floating about.
